Oyo 2027: Fatola Unveils Campaign Launch Date, Unveiling Set for September 6
As political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Ibadan North West/South West Federal Constituency, Hon. Samson Opeyemi Fatola, has fixed September 6, 2026, for the official launch of his campaign.
According to a statement made available to journalists by the Communications Director of the Fatola Campaign Organization, Seyifunmi Odunuga, the campaign launch and official unveiling will take place at 2:00 p.m. prompt at the PDP Secretariat in Molete, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Fatola, a U.S.-based business leader, philanthropist and grassroots politician, is expected to use the occasion to unveil his legislative roadmap, which focuses on transparency, practical development and effective representation for residents of the constituency.
The campaign is operating under the popular slogan “Te S’Oju E!”, with a four-point agenda centred on listening, partnering, representing and delivering for the people.
The campaign launch is expected to attract PDP chieftains, party leaders, ward coordinators, stakeholders and supporters from across Ibadan North West and Ibadan South West.
Organisers have also extended an open invitation to constituents, calling on them to come together in support of the campaign and its vision for progress across the constituency.
The September 6 event is expected to mark the formal commencement of Fatola’s campaign activities as he seeks to consolidate grassroots support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
