The Oyo State Governorship Campaign Council of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has expanded and restructured its campaign committees ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the inauguration of the committees scheduled for Friday.

The expansion is aimed at strengthening grassroots mobilisation, improving campaign coordination and broadening stakeholder engagement across the state.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Director-General of the Oyo APM Governorship Campaign Council, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, said additional members had been appointed to existing committees to enhance their effectiveness and ensure wider participation in the party’s campaign structure.

Adeniran disclosed that a new Community Relations and Voters’ Education Committee had been established, while the existing Mobilisation Committee had been divided into specialised subcommittees to improve coordination and achieve better results.

According to the statement, the expanded committees will be formally inaugurated at the Local Government Hall, Oyo State Secretariat, on Friday at 3 p.m.
