Oyo 2027: Adedibu, Fatola, Taiwo Unite for Joint PDP Campaign Launch

As political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, three candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are set to jointly launch their campaign on September 6.

The candidates are Hon. Usman Sijuade Adedibu, Hon. Samson Opeyemi Fatola (Te S’Oju E), and Hon. Jimoh Taiwo, who are coming together to pool their grassroots structures, resources and supporters across their respective constituencies.

Hon. Usman Sijuade Adedibu is seeking the ticket to represent the Ibadan South West I State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly.

He is joined by Hon. Samson Opeyemi Fatola, popularly known as Te S’Oju E, who is contesting for the Federal Representative seat for the Ibadan North West/South West Federal Constituency.

Also participating in the joint campaign is Hon. Jimoh Taiwo, who is vying for the Oyo State House of Assembly seat in the Ibadan South West II State Constituency.

The joint campaign launch is designed to present a united front among the three candidates and galvanise PDP supporters and party faithful ahead of the 2027 electoral race.

The collaborative approach is expected to bring together the candidates’ respective grassroots structures, resources and supporters, while strengthening their engagement with voters across the constituencies.

Organisers noted that the combined mobilisation is expected to set the tone for vigorous grassroots engagement as the candidates begin their campaign activities ahead of the 2027 elections.

The September 6 event will therefore mark a significant step in the candidates’ preparations as they seek to consolidate their support bases and build momentum across their respective constituencies.
