Aleshinloye Mourns Victims of Ibadan Tanker Explosion, Sympathizes with Oyo Government
The Federal Character Commissioner representing Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass Aleshinloye (MDII), has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic tanker explosion that claimed lives and caused serious damage in Ibadan.
In a statement issued through his Media Officer, Adegoke Oladiipo, Aleshinloye commiserated with the Oyo State Government, the families of those who lost their lives, and everyone affected by the unfortunate incident.
He described the accident as a heartbreaking tragedy and a painful loss not only to the affected families but to the entire state.
The Commissioner urged residents to remain calm and support one another during this difficult period. He also called on relevant authorities to strengthen the enforcement of safety regulations to prevent such incidents from happening again.
Aleshinloye prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased and asked God to grant the injured speedy recovery. He also prayed that God would give the bereaved families the strength to bear the painful loss.
He reaffirmed his
solidarity with the government and people of Oyo State, stressing that collective vigilance and strict adherence to safety measures are important to prevent future tragedies.
