Oyo Digital Icons to Be Honoured as Omo Iya Kunmi Announces 49-Category Mega Awards Night
Siyanbola, founder of the OmoIyaKunmi Foundation, is widely known for his commitment to youth empowerment, community development, and programmes that recognize outstanding individuals within the state.
According to information from the organisers, this year’s edition will feature 49 award categories. The breakdown includes 29 social category awards, 15 distinguished personalities awards, 3 outstanding excellence awards, and 2 posthumous recognitions. The awards are designed to honour individuals who have excelled in social media influence, leadership, creativity, and community service.
The grand ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 31, 2026, and is expected to attract influencers, policymakers, public figures, and stakeholders from different sectors within and outside Oyo State.
Speaking ahead of the event, the source emphasized the importance of celebrating individuals who use their platforms positively, noting that the awards seek to promote responsible influence while inspiring a new generation of socially conscious youth.
