ADC Oyo Schedules Expanded Stakeholders’ Meeting Ahead of Congresses

The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Oyo State chapter, has announced an expanded stakeholders’ meeting as part of its strategic preparations for the forthcoming party congresses.
This development follows resolutions reached at the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held on March 25, 2026, with congresses scheduled to commence on April 7, 2026.


According to an official notice released by the party, the stakeholders’ meeting will take place as follows:


Date: Tuesday, March 31, 2026
Venue: ADC State Secretariat, Along Oke-Itunu Road, Mokola, Ibadan
Time: 11:00 a.m.


The party emphasized that attendance is strictly mandatory for all critical stakeholders. These include members of the State Executive Committee, Local Government Area (LGA) chairmen and secretaries, women and youth leaders, as well as leaders of coalition partners. In addition, three leaders from each LGA and all party aspirants—across gubernatorial, senatorial, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly positions—are expected to be in attendance.
The meeting is aimed at strengthening internal coordination, aligning party leadership, and ensuring a smooth and successful conduct of the upcoming congresses.


The notice was jointly signed by the State Chairman, Alhaji Olona Saliu Yinka, and the State Publicity Secretary, Barrister Bimpe Adelowo.
