Media Excellence Award Presented to Saheed Oladele, Baameko at NAWOJ Southwest Summit

Ibadan, Nigeria – Saheed Oladele, Baameko of Ibadanland, was honoured with a Media Excellence Award at the NAWOJ Southwest Summit, recognising his outstanding contributions to education, youth empowerment, leadership, and community development.
The award also celebrated his excellent use of media, which has positioned him as a media-friendly politician.
In his acceptance speech, Oladele expressed gratitude and humility. “I am so glad to be here today. I have received many awards, but this is the only one I am attending, because I was advised to focus on service rather than accolades,” he said. He urged colleagues and the public to give courage and support to leaders committed to serving the people.
Oladele, a respected educationist and entrepreneur, is the founder of Erudite Group of Schools and the first Baameko of Ibadanland, a chieftaincy title recognising his service to the community. Also a Governorship Aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC)
The award further acknowledges his role in leveraging media platforms to engage communities and drive awareness on social and civic issues.
