Odidiomo Launches ICT Hub to Empower Ibadan Youth.

As part of ongoing efforts to bridge the digital divide and empower young people through technology, the federal lawmaker representing Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency, Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide (a.k.a. Odidiomo), will on Thursday commission a fully equipped Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Hub at Oba Abass Alesinloye Grammar School, Eleyele, Ibadan.
According to a statement by Tolu Mustapha, Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs to the lawmaker, the commissioning ceremony will take place within the school premises and is expected to attract key stakeholders from the education sector, political circles, and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).

Hon. Olajide, who also serves as Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Digital, Information Communication Technology and Cybersecurity, is championing the initiative as part of his broader strategy to reposition education in his constituency through technology-driven learning.
“This ICT hub is not just a donation. It’s an investment in the future of our youth and a statement of belief in their potential,” Mustapha stated.

He added that the project reflects the lawmaker’s commitment to grassroots innovation, digital inclusion, and sustainable development. The ICT Hub will serve not only students of Oba Abass Alesinloye Grammar School, but also neighboring schools and young people within the wider Eleyele community.

Equipped with 20 modern computer systems, broadband internet access, smart boards, solar-powered backup energy, and standard e-learning tools, the facility aims to enhance digital literacy, foster 21st-century skills, and inspire local innovation.
