Rector Hails Appointment of OYSCATECH Deputy Bursar as Substantive Bursar of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic.

The Rector of Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology (OYSCATECH), Igboora, Professor Akinola Akinlabi, has congratulated Mrs. Bolatito Sekinat Adejuwon on her appointment as the substantive Bursar of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa.

Professor Akinlabi, speaking on behalf of the Governing Council, Management, staff, and students of OYSCATECH, described the appointment—approved by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde—as a commendable recognition of excellence and professionalism.

According to the Rector, the elevation of Mrs. Adejuwon, who was until her appointment a Deputy Bursar at OYSCATECH, reflects the institution’s culture of efficiency, competence, and commitment to professional growth.

He noted that Mrs. Adejuwon is a seasoned financial expert and a core professional who has served the college diligently in various capacities, adding that her appointment is a loss to OYSCATECH but a gain to the Oyo State tertiary education system.

Professor Akinlabi expressed confidence that she would deploy her wealth of experience to strengthen the financial and administrative management of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, and uphold the values of accountability and transparency.

The Management staff, unions, colleagues, friends, and members of the Association of Ibarapa Staff Indigenes working in OYSCATECH have also joined in congratulating the newly appointed Bursar.

Mrs. Bolatito Sekinat Adejuwon is an accomplished accountant whose professional experience spans several key units within the Bursary Department of OYSCATECH, including Expenditure Control, Reconciliation, Quality Control and Assurance Services, and Chief Accountant at the Directorate of Part-Time and Preliminary Studies.

An indigene of Igboora in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State, she joined the services of OYSCATECH in 2008 as an Accountant II and rose to the position of Deputy Bursar in 2018.

She is a distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and holds a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Ibadan. She also possesses a Bachelor of Science degree from Achievers University, Owo, as well as National and Higher National Diplomas from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.

Mrs. Adejuwon had her primary education at Adegoke Nursery and Primary School, Igboora, junior secondary education at Igboora High School, and senior secondary education at St. Louis Grammar School, Mokola, Ibadan.

She has attended over 20 professional conferences and has published five research papers, with four additional unpublished works to her credit.

Beyond her professional duties, Mrs. Adejuwon has made notable contributions to community and religious organisations. She served as Sisters’ Coordinator of the Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Oyo State Chapter, between 2008 and 2010, Treasurer of the OYSCATECH Muslim Community from 2009 to 2021, and Financial Secretary from 2021 to date. She also served as Auditor of the Interest-Free Cooperative Investment and Credit Society between 2012 and 2020.

Her committee service includes membership of the Health Management Committee, Special Investigation Panel, Staff Training and Development Committee, Board of Survey Committee, Promotion Examination Committee, and several other strategic committees within the institution.

Mrs. Adejuwon is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria and a Graduate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.

She is married to Dr. Laja Adejuwon, and their union is blessed with children.

Described as a dynamic, hardworking, and highly professional accountant, Mrs. Adejuwon continues to inspire excellence and represents a source of pride to women in the profession.

It would be recalled that Governor Seyi Makinde approved her appointment on Wednesday, December 18, 2025, alongside the appointment of Dr. Jonathan Adedokun as Rector and Mrs. Abosede Akintunde as Registrar as substantive principal officers of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa.
