Organised Labour Suspends Strike for 5 days.
The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have suspended their industrial action for one week.
The TUC president Festus Osifo confirmed this in Abuja earlier today after a joint extraordinary national executive council meeting of the unions.
The tripartite committee is expected to meet daily for the next one week to come up with agreeable conditions on the demand for a new national minimum wage, reversal of electricity tariff hike, among other issues.
A communique is expected later.
