University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, has had its power supply reinstated by the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) after a 16-day disconnection due to an outstanding bill of N495 million.
The disconnection occurred on March 19, marking the third instance within a span of less than two months, as IBEDC cited an accumulated debt as the reason.
However, electricity was restored to the health facility around 6:30 pm yesterday.
