On Wednesday, Governor Seyi Makinde will commission the new Olubadan Palace, a majestic structure on Oke-Aremo that blends tradition and modernity. This palace will serve as the official residence of subsequent Olubadans, starting with Oba Olakulehin.
On Thursday, the maiden Egungun-Amala-Fuji Festival will take place at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, showcasing traditional masquerade performances, food, and fuji music that celebrate Yoruba cultural richness.
The coronation event on Friday will begin at Labosinde compound, where the new Olubadan will receive traditional leaves and rites, followed by the crowning ceremony at Osemeji and the presentation of the Staff of Office by Governor Makinde at Mapo Hall.
