Honoring a Legacy, Empowering the Future
The Haulat Olaigbe Memorial Scholarship Fund is more than just a financial aid initiative—it is a heartfelt tribute to a remarkable woman, Mama Haulat Olaigbe, whose life was defined by kindness, humility, and a passion for uplifting others.
Founded in 2021 by one of her children, Chief Dauda Olasunkanmi Olaigbe, this scholarship was established as a living legacy to continue the good works she believed in—particularly the empowerment of young people through education.
In the words of Chief Dauda Olasunkanmi Olaigbe:
“This is not just about money; it is about lifting burdens. It is about honouring a woman who gave all she had to see others rise.”
🎯 Our Purpose
The core purpose of this scholarship is to support indigent but determined students who are struggling to meet their educational needs due to financial hardship. We believe that no child should be denied access to education because of poverty, and this scholarship fund was created to bridge that gap.
Through the scholarship, we seek to:
- Ease the financial burden of tertiary education for students in need
- Celebrate and honor the memory of Mama Haulat Olaigbe, who was a symbol of generosity and resilience
- Encourage academic excellence and build a generation of compassionate leaders
- Foster hope, support, and a sense of belonging in recipients

Mama Haulat Olaigbe was a beacon of light in her community. Known for her selflessness, warmth, and motherly spirit, she poured her life into raising others—biologically and beyond. Even with limited means, she was rich in love and compassion.
